Wherever in these Laws provision is made for the scoring of runs or awarding of penalties, such runs and penalties will be subject to any provisions that may be applicable for the disallowance of runs or for the non-award of penalties. See Law 19 (Boundaries).ġ8.1.3 when Penalty runs are awarded.
A run is scoredġ8.1.1 so often as the batter, at any time while the ball is in play, have crossed and made good their ground from end to end.ġ8.1.2 when a boundary is scored.
